I read many reviews, experts' (CNET, etc) and Amazon customers', before buying this flat screen.I really did have a lot to learn about LCD's and LED/LCD's, being a novice.

So I settled on this set, confident it was what I wanted and knowing that the price was really good (after much price-comparison shopping).

Set up was extremely easy, even for me, and I was watching it in just a few minutes. I called Amazon tech service with a couple of questions, and I was done. I have set the sound to "movie" and the picture to "dynamic" and those 2 adjustments did improve upon the default settings for me. (Go to the "TOOLS" button on the remote for these 2 settings and for the sleep timer as well-- it's easier than going through the "MENU")

This TV is in my kitchen, and I'm sitting about 6' from it. It's just perfect, and I love it---so much so, that I ordered another for my bedroom-- it arrives on Wednesday!

EDIT: Another change from default settings-- Go to MENU, MODE: set AUTO VOLUME to "ON"--- the TV gets SO MUCH louder! With Auto Volume on and the TV on Movie mode, I don't think anyone will have a problem with sound being too low.

The picture quality is stunning. I think 720 keep things looking more real yet images still look crisp. The colors also look more natural than other brands that I have seen. I have also played higher and lower resolution .avi and .mp4 files and they work amazingly! I would say that the picture quality looks better than on my MacBood Pro mid-2009 version. Also, I purchased this during Black Friday for $250, so have absolutely nothing to complain!

This is a gift for my mother-in-law to replace her old antique TV. I think the picture quality is good the only draw back is when we try to program it with our universal remote control, there are just too many code to try. The automatic search result have the remote control could not get the volume button works like it should be instead you have to punch the up/down button non stop to get to the level you want. It is not the fault of the TV though. I sure will love TV manufacturer or DVD or any AV equipment come with a code for those universal remote control. It sure will save a lot of time for a user.

I bought this tv for my bedroom and have been really happy with it so far. First, the bezel is attractively thin, and adds to the sharpness of this tv.

The picture is really nice looking. I'm watching the new Star Trek blu ray on it right now the picture looks fantastic. The picture on this tv definitely benefits from calibration (I use a calibration blu-ray). I was initially disappointed with the flesh tone representation on this set, but after some color correction, along with balancing the brightness and contrast, I can honestly say this tv looks great.

I already own a 46" Samsung 1080p LCD, but I think this 32" 720p set might look just a little better.

The only downside for this set is the remote. The buttons are kind of jammed together and it's hard to use in the dark.
